I would assume that if they are going to offer it again for 2018 that the release date would be very soon. I haven't had any Disney Visa emails yet. The last two years, the offer became available the last week of September. The two years prior to that, it was made available the first week of October.
If its offered and they follow previous release patterns I'd think we'd see something as early as this week. Thursdays seem to be a popular release date for this offer. If we don't see anything by end of next week, then I'd question its eventual release.
With discount rollbacks and more and more restrictions, will be interesting to see, if released, how it compares to previous years.

Last year they released the room discount as well, do they do that on the same day? What is the stay, play, dine discount anyways. I was thinking the current specials last day to book in Oct 7th was figuring right after that date.
First trip 1986 ...
Not enough since then!

It's out. Got a note from magical journey. BUT good luck finding availability. Another fake Disney discount. Offer and have no rooms available....

To say the system is wonky today is an understatement! Their entire system was down for all of the early morning hours and we were on the phones with them as they brought it back up.
Remember, not everything gets loaded correctly the first day and we do not give up trying! We cannot control availability, but we try our darnedest to get our clients what they want/need

They have something called Gift of Magic Package online.
I was able to get the AK for about $400 more than I was paying for POR for 7 nights.
I'm assuming this is a new package and different from SPD ?

Stay-Play-Dine is a package discount, room, tickets and Disney Dining Plan. You get a percentage discount and its nearly impossible to figure out exactly what discount you received. As I recall from prior year discussions it seemed to work out to be about a 10-15% room discount and about 50% discount on the Dining Plan. Stay Play Dine isn't as good as out right free dining, at least not in our family's situation.

Hi- I am extremely disappointed. We have been saving up to stay at a deluxe resort during play stay and dine or room discount. The discounts only are applying to the more expensive preferred view, tower, concierge or Magic Kingdom view rooms. If you had that type of money in the first place why are they the only ones needing a discount. I am so disappointed with Disney right now - seems they are only interested in people with $$$.

Did you check the Disney Visa offers? Most are as you say, the preferred rooms, views a/o suites and club levels, but I did see some standard rooms at Yacht & Beach Clubs and Wilderness Lodge. I only checked for one week, just out of curiousity, but some standard/courtyard level rooms were available.

Is Saratoga Springs seriously the ONLY 2 bedroom villas available on this discount? I started looking on Tuesday, which is the day the discount came out, I think. I want 6 nights (jan 8-14) for 6 people. We would like to all be together, so I was hoping for a nice 2 bedroom villa somewhere. Saratoga would have been my last choice, but apparently that's all that's available.
Is there a change they will release more rooms as we get closer? Is this normal? It's not even like I can get a room only discount somewhere else!
Sorry. Pouting. This is a special celebration.

Yes, inventory is very fluid at Disney. We have been watching clients reservations all week, and little by little getting what wasn't there on Tuesday.
That said, Saratoga 2 BR can easily disappear as well
