Dawn and I are in. We will be there 21-28. Not sure yet on accommodations. Maybe a bench on Harbor. Lol.

Maria K and I are looking into this trip! I'm thinking we may stay off property at Fairfield Inn or somewhere nearby. I looked at the list of proposed meets / ride together they all sound great! I most especially am interested in doing the Walk in Walt's footsteps tour. I'd like to know more about that. Sure hope I can make this trip!

The Fairfield is a great little hotel, Melissa. I've stayed there a few times, and it's so close and easy to get to everything. Sure hope you guys can make it!

I've stayed at the Fairfield too; it really is a decent hotel and a step above many in that area of Harbor Blvd.

The Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour is such a memorable experience. To hear the stories, see the personal touches around the park and especially to see Walt's apartment above the firehouse was just surreal. By the time we got to the end of the tour we were all a little verklempt.

Price was too good to pass up. And yes, I'm so ready for my 3 upcoming Disney vacations in warmer climates.

I have never done it. The shame! Although, I've never really been able to, since I've always had little ones with me in the past. No kids this time means I can do whatever I want! LOL!

Anyway, I am definitely doing this tour. I'd be willing to coordinate this if we can get a solid group together who wants to do it on the same day. I'm not really sure how Disney handles a group that wants to do the tour, but I will find out. As far as I know, it is a walking tour that is 2-3 hours in length (can the Senioritas confirm?), similar to the Keys to the Kingdom Tour at WDW's MK. The most interesting part is you get to go INSIDE Walt's personal apartment above the firehouse. I have always wanted to go in there!

Right now, I'm probably in for Oct 21-28 as well. Just confirmed with my husband that it will be okay for him to be off work Tues-Tues.

Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps walking tour was closer to 3-3.5 hours every time I've taken it. It does include several rides (those have varied) and lunch (you chose from their menu when you check in). When I have done it I would estimate that there were about 12-16 people in the group. As a general rule I think the tour runs twice a day, daily. I have always taken the morning tour. Annual Passholders receive a 20% discount.
