Glad to hear that they are going to keep Festival of the Lion King! It's one of the highlights of that park for us. And as for Pandora...I'll believe it when I see it

DD's choral group performed at DTD this past weekend. Their Disney host told them that Festival of the Lion King may be going dark for several months while the transition is made. However, remember that this is only the report of one CM and they are often wrong.

I am sure that will be the case since they will be moving to a new venue and possibly revamping the show in some way.
At this point, however, they are just working on clearing the site to start construction so I have to believe that it is many months off. Given Disney's speed we may not see the new venue until this time next year.

I have a feeling that won't be the case... FP machines are being installed for the current theater...I don't think they would put FP machines up, then shut the show down making it go dark for several months...
I think this will run right up til the construction is done... Maybe it closes for a week or two in order to break in the new theater, but that's about it...
