Anyone there now? How are crowds?

Just curious as we will be there in 1.5 weeks! I thought I had read that attendance was a little down due to the late fall opening of the new fantasyland. I didn't know if that was really affecting things. And kids are back in school as well.

We just came back on Tuesday and I didn't think the crowds were that bad. Except for fantasyland. That place is always a zoo! Most of the rides were around 10-20 minutes. Have a magical time

You can get the small crowds if you're willing to risk a hurricane or two.

We will be there in 1.5 wks also for 13 days. I haven't see anything that says there will be hurricanes.

OMG! The crowds are unbelievably low! I just got back yesterday. On Sunday I rode TSMM 5 times in a row, then my "shooting" hand was sore, so I grabbed a FP, took a break for lunch, then rode twice more. When I went back at 1:00, FP were still available, with a return time of 3:15-4:15. The standby line was 35 minutes. I was talking to a CM at KS (10 minute posted wait-only because it took that long to walk from the sign to the ride). The CM was saying how bored she was, that the days were going so slowly now. I haven't seen it this uncrowded since shortly after 9/11. It was hot, but there are certainly advantages to September!

It's really great right now. You can zip thru Fantasyland midday with little to no wait (Saturday @ noon Peter Pan was 20 minutes! Ppl were asking the CM "is that time correct?!"

Is there a drastic increase in crowds then? We'll be there in 18 days, and the last time we went during F&W I was too young to know. I've heard it's still pretty light until closer to Thanksgiving. Is that true? -crossing fingers-

I hope this means we will finally get to do Toy Story. We tried 4 or 5 times last year, but FP was always out and very long walk on times.

Just got back. Crowds are pretty light. TSM though always packed and long lines.

One thing, they run fewer buses and so the wait seems longer and are more packed.

But we were able to ride soarin 3 times, Star Tours 10, to name a few.

Fantastic! We are pretty much walking on to everything, especially in the mornings. Even over at Universal we did everything in Harry Potter world twice in an hour or so.

We were at Magic Kingdom Friday for the MNSSHP and we entered at 4 pm. Crowds were great. Went to AK on Saturday and thought it was miserably crowded, although the lines weren't too bad. I think that the layout of that park makes it feel really, really congested, especially when it's hot.

Today is our 10th and final day here. For first eight days, crowds were very light. We hardly used FastPasses at all. Walked on E:E. Rode it. Got back in line and rode it again with almost no line.

Yesterday, things changed. F&W started. Epcot was shoulder to shoulder by 2. The Mexican boat ride had the entire queue filled and spilled over I to the shopping area.

We left and went to Magic Kingdom and it was packed, too. There was a queue line for TTA. I've never seen that. We stayed until 9:15 and the park was still very crowded. (It had extended hours.)
