Yes everything should be complete by then. But the bulk of the new/updated attractions will be finished i.e. Dumbo, The Little Mermaid Ride and the new interactive meet n greets will be opening Fall of 2012. 2013 will bring pixie hallow that is assuming they don't change their minds.

Mickey's Starland was there before ToonTown, but they had to see it go. I wish they would've at least made ToonTown like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?", but it's a tad late now. Anywho... We just have to go with the flow and HOPE that PH turns into a Wonderland theme. I love AIWL... =D
Go to DL if you want to go to ToonTown. Roger Rabbit's Toontown Spin is a great little dark ride.
TLM is twenty years old already, how is that not catering to some of us older fans???

I thought the barnstormer was being re-themed for the 7 dwarfs?

Nope. Barnstormer is getting a Dumbo make over. I think it will be themed to the clown/fire house scene in the circus.
Let's stop defending mediocrity out of Disney and hold Disney to the higher standard they set up themselves.

I would prefer a pink elephant's on parade...but either way at least the ride is staying.

YES!!!!! I am very happy Toontown is GONE! No effense to the others that love the new idea! WOW awesome new Goofy's barnstomer. I feel bad for Goofy but I am happy (once again) that toontown is gone. They have changed it to Mickey's Birthday land and all that Jazz it's just no fun when they have to re-created it 20 times!

My sister and I are going the first week of October. Any idea what we can expect? Will toontown still be open, a lot of construction walls up, and most important will the rides like Pooh and Peter Pan still be running? I know its just speculation but you all seem really on top of it.

Pooh and Peter Pan should not be affected...ever, actually. That end of Fantasyland won't be in the construction zone (it starts across the street at Pooh's Playful Spot) At least this is what it looks like to me...

The construction walls start by Pinicho's restrooms and go all the way down to toon town. As I understood the only current rides that will be closed during construction are the Barnstormer and then at some point Dumbo, for when it is moved to its new location. I imagine that Dumbo probably won't move until closer to the completion date in 2012.
