Default which airlines have resort check in?

I was pleasently surprised to find out that my airline (Airtran) a few weeks ago had resort check in and I have to say it ROCKED! We are flying US Air next month. Does anyone know if US Air has resort check in as well?

How does resort check in work? My DW and DD are going to WDW in December and this would really help them, too.

    Thanks.

all you do is take your luggage to the luggage services area on your day of checkout, and they take care of getting it to the airport. They also check you in and and get you your boarding passes. All you do is ride ME to the airport and go right through security to your gate. It's awesome.

You do have to register at your hotel.

If only SW would participate in the hotel check in then my return trip home would be slightly less chaotic. It really is no big deal to take my bags and check em in at SW myself, but the thought of just getting of DME and heading to security is such a beautiful thought.

Can we still use the airline check-in at the hotel if we have a rental car?

Our flight is at 11 a.m. on Delta but we'd need to get our car back to Enterprise. So, we'd be checking out around 6:30 a.m. Can you even check out that early?

Also, we're flying AirTran down and Delta on the way back -- does that make any difference?

Yes airline check in can be used by any resort guest flying one of the above mentioned carriers. One thing - all members of party must be present with ID and I believe you must do this at least 3hrs before your flight leaves.

This is new to me since we have not flown to WDW since 2005 and at the time USAIR was not one of them. We are flying with air tran this time. So do we have to reg. a certain time before hand?

We used the Airline Resort check-in last month for US Airways and it was great. This was the first year we were able to take advantage of the check-in. There wasn't a wait at all. The people working the check-in desk were very nice. We also took advantage of Magical Express, so all we had to do when we got to the airport was go through security. This is something we will definently do again.

If you're just using the resort airline check-in and not using the Magical Express bus service, then you do not need to register at all. If you are using the Magical Express bus service, you need to register in advance.
