Universal Orlando Resort - At a Glance
Universal Orlando Resort
Universal
has quickly climbed the ranks of popularity among Orlando's theme parks. In
the past several years, a remarkable number of new attractions and
experiences has revitalized the Universal Orlando Resort, making it many
people's primary stop during an Orlando vacation.
The Resort
consists of two theme parks--Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, a
dining/entertainment complex--City Walk, and five world class Resort Hotels
(Hard Rock Hotel, Portofino Bay Hotel, Royal Pacific Resort, Cabana Bay
Beach Club, and Sapphire Falls Resort). In Summer 2017, Universal will open
it's third "theme park," Volcano Bay Water Park.
With the addition of two lands dedicated to the Wizarding World of Harry
Potter, new rides such as King Kong Skull Island, a recently revitalized
Hulk Coaster, and the continuous opening of new restaurants and retail
experiences at City Walk, Universal Orlando Resort is a definite "must do."
