Okay, so forgive me if this has been answered previously in 100 different ways, but I'm wanting to check....

I am going to have 3 park hopper days booked along with my reservation. I also will have two more days (I get complimentary thru work...woo hoo!) on 2 different paper tickets that I wanted to use. So they will add those two days to my wristband pass?

I guess they would ALL have to be the same...meaning ALL being Park Hopper? Because how would you differentiate between a non-park hopper day purchased and a park hopper day on your wrist band and a day with Water Park, Fun and more. Geez, that's convuluted, but you know what I mean??

I'm only worried because do you have to keep the wristband on for your trip duration (like an all-inclusive resort)? Because I wouldn't want it accidentally to register my wrist band day when I'm trying to use up a paper ticket day if I have to keep them seperate. Probably more of an issue with my kids. I can see my 6 year old running up and putting her wristband up to the Mickey ball thing (using up one of the days on her band) when really she should have used her paper ticket.

Lord, I'm probably over thinking this. Help!

While I don't feel the need to go with the "most well known" company and have no brand loyalty, what I do prefer is a company who is at the airport, rather than using a shuttle, which sixt is.

My kids and DH voted Mummy as our first ride. So did the rest of the group. We walked into US at 9:20 am. Crowds were fairly light. We hit a lot of rides and lots of repeats. Ate lunch at the pizza place next to Mummy. Not bad and really not expensive.

Back to hotel. Sitting by the pool now. Kids are having fun. I'm relaxing. Perfect start to vacation.

We hope to make it back to US tonight for the show. Not sure where to watch. They have construction on both sides of the lagoon.

Our family attended the 24 Hour MK event last night and we will never go again.

We were aware that the park was open from 6AM on Friday (yesterday) until 6AM today (Saturday). We are in town for the entire Memorial Day weekend and yes, we are aware that the crowds are heavy for this weekend from attending at this time of the year in the past.

That said, here is what we experienced when we arrived last night:

We arrived at MK and parked at about 10:45PM. The crowds seemed large but not unlike what we had seen in the past. We got into the park and started walking up Main Street and we got to Casey's Corner and then we were directed by CM's to go backstage to the left near the first aid/baby station. As we got backstage, we were directed back towards the front of the park by the fire station! Throughout the process, we explained to CM's that we were not trying to exit the park, but they didn't care. They just told everyone to keep moving. This took an hour to get from the gates to Casey's and back to where we started. At this point, we looked at the crowds on Main Street and they were even larger.

There were so many guests packed into the park that no one was able to move. Had there been an emergency situation, any first responders would have had great difficulty attending to such a situation. At this point, our family gave up on trying to get into the park. It was the first time in my 43 years of going to WDW that we literally were not able to get into the park because it was overcrowded.

Upon exiting through the front of MK, there were many upset guests voicing their frustrations at CMs. They were telling them basically that they had just experienced perhaps one of the worst trips ever to MK. One CM was heard replying back to guests, "I just work on the Monorail! What do you want me to do?" Upon hearing this, I was very surprised, because guest service has always been so good at these parks. I cannot recall any CM EVER telling our family or another guest that essentially, "That is not my problem."

This entire event experience, from our family's point of view, demonstrated to us that whomever planned and/or promoted the 24 Hour event has a fundamental lack of understanding that you simply cannot herd an infinite amount of people into a theme park and expect them to enjoy themselves. I was thinking that it was almost as if WDW was trying to go for a world record of people in a theme park at one time.

Did anyone else have the same experience?

My DH and I have a week off work in October and want to go to the World. He has not been there for over 2 years and we are going through withdrawals.

Here is our problem, Disney has always been a vacation we take with our daughters, it has always been the 4 of us and we have the best memories. Our girls are now 20 and 17 and the 20 year old has just moved out on her own. They love, love, love disney and want to go back so badly. I am feeling guilty because we just don't have the money to pay for them to go this time and besides that they both want their boyfriends to go with. They all have jobs but now with rent and car payments they really cannot afford to pay for themselves.

We have received a pin code for free dining during the week we have off work and really want to use it. How do you explain to your kids that they can't go with and then have a good time knowing they are home and upset with you. Has anyone else had a similar situation and what did you end up doing?

I have always had the mind set that I want to experience as many of the resorts that I can. But for the last three years we have had to stay at POR because we brought our MIL with us (making us 5).

This year I told my SIL that she needed to take her so we can stay at a different moderate. I really wanted to stay at CBR because I think my boys would love the pool, but I've been waiting for a refurb because A. I do not want to be stuffed in a full size bed and B. I do not like the room decor at all and it seems dated.

So I was thinking about staying at the CSR but DH says he really doesn't like the mexican theme but he will stay there if I want to. He has fallen in love with POR. He loves the country feel and the music and he feels relaxed there.

Well, my SIL refuses to stay at POR because she hates it and wants to stay at her favorite, POP. She wants her mom to just stay there with her even though they will be a party of 5. Her smallest is 6 years old. Her travel agent told her people do it all the time. :secret: I think it's wrong and so does my MIL. It really makes her feel uncomfortable, and me too really. She is really hoping that I change my mind and book POR.

I love POR, I just always wanted to try something new. But I have researched and researched and I don't know if I would like another moderate better. I'm torn because although I would like to try something new, I also like the thought of the known. I know everything about POR so I'm comfortable there. Plus on our check in night we will be eating at DTD so the boat ride would be nice.

The number one reason why I did not want my MIL to stay with us this year is because she gets up like 6 times a night and I am a light sleeper and she wakes me up everytime.

I just can't make up my mind!
