Barring any unforeseen delays I think you should be fine. If you find yourself a little strapped for time you could always Uber it over to Beach Club and enter through the gateway to save some time.
I think you will be fine. Generally 2 hours is a good rule of thumb. I also concur with the idea of Ubering to the Beach Club and entering thru the International Gateway. This will be a much faster process than busing to the main entrance and covering more than half of the park to reach your destination. Do not panic if you are running a little behind...we have arrived several times to ADRs late due to circumstances out of our control including snafus at the airport with lost luggage and monorail issues. We have always been accommodated but it may take additional time to be seated.
My only thought is that it is the airline most likely to mess you up. Especially if you have a connecting flight. Every time I have flown United I've ended up late- once terribly, terribly late - because arrival times are "just more like guidelines, really" with them. I splurged on a direct flight with a different carrier for my upcoming trip, but still have little faith that it will actually leave and arrive when it is supposed to.
Flight arrives at 1:45 pm. Magical express to Pop. Can we check in and get to Epcot in time for a 5:10 pm ADR at Akershus?
Should not be a problem. Figure about an hour from check in at DME to arrival at resort. Then, check you carry-ons (or put them in your room if it is available) and grab the first bus to EPCOT -- should be about half an hour, including wait time for the bus.
Heck, you would probably even have time to pick up your refillable mugs, if you were so inclined.
My flight last Thursday arrived at MCO just after 8am and I was in EPCOT before 11am.
