How early can you get into a park with ADR?

Just curious how soon you can get into the park for a dining reservation. Park opens the day we go at 9 am. Our adr is 9:15 however they say arrive 8:45...so would they let us in at 8 if we got there then?

No, they will not let you in at 8:00 am. You will not get to walk around an unopened park for 1 hour. Your reservation is for after the park opening. The earliest you'll get in is at the 8:45 time they suggest.

In general they'll only let you in 15-20 min before your ADR time. You go to the gate where the ADRs are, give your confirmation # and then they'll let you in. If you arrive too early you usually have to wait. With your ADR being at 9:15 they'll probably let you in at 8:45 or 8:50 so that you're at the restaurant to check in at 9 (15 min early, which is what they request).
