    Default golf cart rentals

Anyone know if Kenny (off site) is still renting golf carts for Disney.

    Default Yes, He is BUT

I spoke with Kenny yesterday (6/3/2015)

Renting a golf cart from an offsite vendor NOW requires the WDW guest to meet the vendor offsite and drive the truck towing the golf cart onto WDW property (Fort Wilderness) and unload and return the truck to the vendor just off the property.

GUESTS may bring a golf cart onto the property but a VENDOR cannot.

This adds an obstacle but yes guests can still rent a golf cart from offsite vendors.

WDW golf carts are now $60 all in with tax which is real money if you're looking at a week long stay.

Default CORRECTION: It is a Trailer

The thing that carries the cart onto the property is a trailer so you use it to bring your offsite rented trailer.

This seems like a hassle, I agree.

Offsite gold cart rentals cost less than half the price of renting from Fort Wilderness.

Does sound like a lot, be we will be there for 2 full weeks. That's just way too much to add to the budget at Disney cost.
Thanks so much for the info!

Ironically we are renting a car for a few days in Branson and that is only 50 a day for a medium sized car.

Great question!! This has me thinking about our trip in September. I wouldn't have any problem doing what was described regarding getting the cart to my camp site. My question is how you handle the exchange at the end of your stay to get the golf cart back to the vendor.
