Did you ride Big Thunder, ryca1dreams? Just wondering what you thought...
Oh, and Alice in Wonderland with the new projections?
-
I only rode Big Thunder once. It's hard to remember how it differs from WDW. The dynamite stuff was pretty cool - maybe that's it.
I liked Alice. Since it was my first time, I don't know the difference, but it definitely had some cool things in it.

Thanks for the report! I will be a first timer at DLR in July as a WDW veteran so your perspective is so useful! Where did you eat?

Let me see if I can remember -
DLR
- Hungry Bear - good
- Bengal Barbecue - good but not much for the price (sit in the adjacent French Market because there is little seating)
- Tiki Juice Bar - Dole Whip float of course
DCA
Flo's V8 Cafe - good, plus you just have to
Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta - pretty good
Paradise Garden Grill - I like this a lot, but that's my taste
DTD
Napolini - pizza by the slice, but not plain pizza, so it was good. Big NY slices.
We don't really do table service so I can't comment on those.
I looked for the cherry churro, but didn't find it.

Thanks for the post. I too am a big DW fan. We go almost every year. In Sept we are going to DL. Didn't know what to expect. After reading your post I am so excited.

It is super SMOOTH at DL! Funny, though, because we too are WDW regulars, and while I love how smooth it is at DL since the recent rehab, my older two kids like the wildness of the WDW version better. They actually don't like that it is so smooth! But I really like how smooth both BTMRR and Space Mountain are at DL. Much better rides at DL, in my opinion. (And, similar to an earlier post, of all attractions, I identify most strongly with Space Mountain at WDW. Still, I now am a huge fan of the DL version of Space Mountain and wish that it would come to WDW. Clearly not going to happen -- at least not any time soon -- given the recent 9-month refurb on WDW's Space Mountain.)
