Online Check-in

I know this has been asked before, but I wasn't able to find the thread, so....

We are going to be at WDW 4/19 -4/26, staying at the BC. I have a location request in for a room with a full balcony. Do you think I will have a better chance getting the room request doing online check-in or waiting to check-in once we arrive. Our flight gets in at 9am...

Definitely make the request at online check-in. Everything I've ever read says that the rooms are already assigned at check-in and it would be much harder, if not impossible, to accommodate your request that late.

Online check in may get you in earlier but it's not guaranteed. It's been split about 50/50 for us.

When it comes to the room request I suggest calling. The requests during online check-in are not that specific. Also, if you enter a request in online check-in it voids any request you've previously made. I learned that the hard way.
