What is the earliest that......
For those that have had flights arrive early into Orlando, what time is the earliest you have been able to have entry into your hotel room in Disney? This trip's flight arrives at 8:15 AM on a Friday at MCO. We have never arrived this early for a Disney trip.

There is no magic formula here. If nobody stayed in your room the night before, it will be ready.

We haven't gotten into a DVC room before 4pm, non DVC rooms I've gotten in earlier. I always hear people getting in earlier, wish I had that luck.
-
...we've gotten into our room at POP as early as 9:30am.
...it's really the luck of the draw ...so to speak.
...if you've requested a certain room location ...and the staff is trying to accommodate you ...early entry may be an issue if the room wasn't empty the prior night.
...the few times our room wasn't ready by 3pm (even when we got there before 11am) ...we just went to a park ...and left the baggage in the car till we got back.

As long as you don't have too many special request and the resort was not sold out the night before, chances are pretty good.
Online check in helps. But FWIW, I was there twice last year, landed at MCO before 9 the first time and no problem. Also the second time we were there before standard checkout time, and no problem there either.

We've been lucky once and got our room at 10:30am, but generally, even with online check-in we've had to wait.

Yup. Last visit, we drove up to GF at 7:30am and the room we requested was empty so they gave us the keys and we piled in.

We have gotten in as early as 8:30 AM. We generally do not make a lot of room requests which may make things easier.

I don't do the early checkin. Seem to find my requests are met if I wait until I get to the resort. Normally we are lucky to get right into our room. If you don't have a special request, that makes finding a empty room so much easier ( and they will change your room at checkin if you ask them to). The last few stays at POP a room was assigned and I got changes made with no problem. Just took them about 10 minutes to reassign.
Good luck!

I agree hit or miss we have had times that our room was ready and times that we had to wait until regular check in for our room. More times than not, it's been ready early.

Checking In
Agree with all! Especially Dizneyrox. We have not gotten into a DVC villa before 4pm in years. Much to the dismay of DD, who likes to rest after the flight.

We usually arrive around 0700 at POP. We do on-line check in and tell them that we will be early.

Yup, I've gotten into my room as early as 6:55 AM.

I have gotten into a DVC room early on a number of occasions - and a few times I've had to wait until well after 4 pm.
Good luck - that will be a long time to wait. Try to book a character breakfast to break up the day (just in case you end up waiting til 4)....
Or pack the bathing suits in a carryon & go swimming while waiting too.
We've done both
