    Default Romantic Spots?

Hi all. Need your input. I'll be at WDW in September with my boyfriend and it will be his first visit. We will be staying at AKL. I really wanted to spend a few hours one evening sitting on the beach at the Poly sipping on their fabulous Pina Coladas but due to the construction going on at the hotel I think that will be less than romantic.

Can anyone else thing of any similarly romantic low key spots outside of the parks?

The beach at Poly is one of my favorites night time spots (not to mention the yummy drinks) so I'm really disappointed

That's a pretty tough one to beat -the first thing that comes to mind is the beach area in front of Y/B Club. You could grab a drink or ice cream and watch the nightlife of the boardwalk on one of the benches.

There are some wonderful benches on the water both at POR and FQ...watching the boats go back and forth to DTD

Mizner's Lounge at the GF is nice and there's the orchestra/Jazz band that plays out front. The lighting is very soft at night and the windows look out over the beach and lagoon. The GF pool/beach bar actually serves the same pina coladas as the Poly, though, and you can enjoy their beach and marina area for fireworks and water parade.

I to recommend the lounge at GF. The jazz band is great and so to the piano. Take a walk along the main pool which shimmers at night to Narcoosee's and share a desert with a glass of wine. It's all good

We actually found AKL to be very romantic. We had a nice evening at the Victoria Falls bar, they had really good wine and the atmosphere was really nice.

The grounds are really romantic, especially at night. We have a great time just walking around. Be sure to explore the Villas next door too.

If you want to get away from your hotel, we love walking around the Boardwalk at night. One of the best places to take a romantic nighttime stroll that we've ever found.

We were just at the Poly, watched Wishes on the beach with our girls... it was very quiet/peaceful, the construction seemed to be a non-entity. So maybe you'll be lucky!
Another vote for drinks at Victoria Falls bar... it was very peaceful & relaxing.
My DH surprised me with dinner at Narcoossees... a bit pricey, but worth every penny & VERY romantic, esp the setting.
Walking the Boardwalk with a drink at night is nice, too... as is just circling Epson & watching Illuminations.
There are lots of great articles/ideas, too, if you Google "romance at Disney".
    Have a great trip!!
