Default World of Color - Just Seasonal?

I'm traveling to the Land early October. The schedule was recently released for October and I am quite bummed that World of Color is not listed as it is in September. Is this only a seasonal show? Or, do they just determine the hours a couple weeks before. Traveling Oct 1 - 5th to the Land, but the 1st we're doing the Halloween party, so we'd have the 2nd, 3rd & 4th in parks where we could goto California Adventure. Thanks!

World of Color is not a seasonal show. However, beginning November 15th it will have it's new "Winter Dreams" version up and running. I do not think there will be any down time required to switch from the original to the holiday version. As a general rule Disneyland Resort entertainment schedules come out at a snail's pace, so keep checking. I am supposing that eventually you will see World of Color listed for the month of October.

I would agree that there usually isn't any downtime for World of Color. Any changes and additions to the show are usually programmed late at night after the park has closed. Those staying in the right rooms at the Grand Californian Hotel can get a sneak preview when they are working on something new. The exception would be when the park closes early, there may not be a World of Color show, similar to nights they don't have fireworks at Disneyland.
