It'll be more crowded than early Sept, but less crowded than late Oct. The weekends will be the roughest part, especially at Epcot, due to the F&WF kicking off.
As for weather, look for upper 80s to around 90. It can still get into the low to mid 90s, but generally the temp is just beginning to trend downward at that time. Humidity is still high, but generally not as bad as August and early Sept.

We went that time last year. It was warm but not unbearable.
Like Strmchsr said Epcot will be crowded due to the Food and Wine Festival but we found that the other parks were manageable.
The other thing that effects crowds is MNSSHP. On the nights that event is at the MK the other parks tend to be a little more crowded.
I did a lot of research and found a website that predicts crowd levels. You have to pay for it but it was well worth it and they were usually pretty accurate.
Too many trips to count!

I have stayed at: All Star Movies, All Star Music, Pop Century, Art of Animation, Port Orleans Riverside, Caribbean Beach Resort, Saratoga Springs Resort
We are going to be there one day before you! We have been to WDW many times at that time of year and it is great. Hot during the day, but cooler in the evenings. A few times we rented a locker for sweatshirts later in the evening.
I have been on the website previously mentioned and the crowd levels are all 1.1-2 for the week, except for the Friday and Sat night in Epcot. They are a 5.7. Busy, but not too bad. The 1.1 crowds are amazing! There will be long lines for the big rides only. Unless the current issues with fast pass+ continues....
