    Default Avoiding I-4

We are traveling from the Florida panhandle to Pop Century. I know there is a way to avoid I-4 but cant remember the road. Any help would be appreciated.

When we drive down I usually take the Florida's Turnpike from I-75 South (exit 328?). In approximately 30 miles, get off at US HWY 27, and take that through Minneola/Clermont down to US HWY 192 (aka Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway). That takes you right into the south side of WDW at World Drive.
It'll take a little over an hour from I-75 to WDW. Also, by not taking the Florida's Turnpike the entire way, you'll avoid all but I think one toll charge.

We drive down I-75 to the Florida turnpike and then get off the turnpike at hwy 429 toward Disney World to exit 8 which will be World Drive. It will come out Lake Buena Vista Dr next to Coronado Springs Resort. You just follow the signs to your resort from there.

We never go to I-4 anymore. There is little to no traffic on 429 as well.

    Hope this helps...

Go the Turnpike to then Get off at US 27 an take that down all the way to HWY192 . Once on 192 take a left on sherberth RD an you will follow it to a stop light at the light you are on Disney Property . Take a right an the World will await you take a left an you drive right to the Animal kingdom lodge gate . This is the way I used last week an only spent $3 on tolls

If you are worried about saving $3 in tolls, then use 27 to 192. But using 429 from the turnpike to Western Way is MUCH faster and easier. No redlights or lower speed limits. Very little traffic. Other than slowing down for a toll booth, you don't have to stop until you get to Buena Vista Dr. on Disney property.
