Anybody have any idea when the dates for Star Wars Weekends were released last year? My mother and I are planning a trip for the first weekend this coming year and are impatiently waiting the dates to be released. We don't want to guess days and then not be able to stay for the weekends, so we're waiting to reserve the trip until the dates are released.

They were officially released in late Jan or early Feb last year. However, you can pretty much bet on it being the last 2 weekends of May and 1st two of June since it's been that way forever.

Wow... that's pretty late. My fiance and I took our soon to be engagement trip this past May and I didn't book until Early February, do you think it should be fine to book around that time even with 6 people instead of just 2? We're precise planners in our family, so we don't ever book and hope for the best, unfortunately. Haha.

Yeah, you should be fine. All the unofficial reports have it again on those 4 weekends. Like I mentioned, it's been those same 4 weekends since it's been going on. I wouldn't expect it to change. You can pretty much lock it in. I'm not sure why Disney waits so late to officially announce the dates. It's usually March or April before they announce who will be at which weekend so if you're wanting to plan based on which guest stars will be in the park that weekend you'll really have to do it last minute. The only problem with waiting that late could be 1.) ADRs if you like to do dining and 2.) discounts on resorts as they often have booking windows.
