Party typically runs from 7 - midnight though partygoers are typically admitted to the park around 4 p.m. on party tickets. There really aren't places to dine with good views of the parade. One possibility is Tony's but you'd only be able to see anything if you seated on the porch.

If you would be willing to do Counter Service, I would try for Columbia Harbor House. It's pretty vegetarian friendly (and more so if you eat fish.)

If you want to eat in a TS restaurant, I would eat an early dinner in one of the MK resorts and then take the monorail over to the park. Maybe you could follow up with a snack from the Main Street Bakery. They serve some Halloween desserts that would be fun at the party.

If you look at flyers from parties past, not all the counter service places are open during the party. CHH is one that is not normally open. I am not sure what time it closes from it's regular day hours. Maby someone here can chime in and know the hours during party days.

DH and I will be dining at Tony's before MNSSHP. We always eat before the party... you really don't want to give up precious party time to sit down for a meal. Our ressie is at 5:00 pm.

Tony's is Italian, so vegetarian dishes aren't a problem. You could get pasta with marinara, etc.

You could also dine at Crystal Palace (we've done this before parties as well). It's a buffet, and there will be plenty for you to find.

There are two parades on party nights. I don't remember the exact times but I know one is befoer the fireworks and the other, after the fireworks.

Just to clarify... my complete thought was to have a late lunch (we call them "linners" at home) at CHH in the hours before the official party started. I would imagine that it is open until 5 or 6 on a party night.

    ditto!

I'd eat before the party and stake out a nice place to be for the parade later.

I would also consider the monorail resort dinning venues as an option. We do this often either leaving the park and hopping the monorail for one of these options or dinning before entering the park. The Wave has vegetarian options as does Kona. Something to consider.
