We are contemplating (once again) trying the Big River Grille for dinner but we are always nervous because they don't take ADRs and we are afraid we will end up stuck. Anyone ever been there and know what the crowds are like?
Thanks!

Actually they do take reservations, but you need to call the restaurant directly. I have done this in the past, as we had 6 in our party. I like the Big River Grille. We have always had good service there and the food is pretty good. I usually get the salad and loved it. DH has gotten either the burger or some chicken sandwich in the past and enjoyed it as well. Everyone in our party seemed to enjoy the food. We always make this our "go to" place when we want to visit Boardwalk.
DBF and I have always just done walk up and have never waited. I am not sure I would even worry about making reservations in my opinion. We are on the Boardwalk all the time and VERY rarely ever see that place with a line. I am sure the most you would ever have to wait is 15 MAYBE 20 minutes if it was busy. But that's in my opinion. I am sure it would also depend on if it is a busy time of year etc. But I personally wouldn't be too worried about it. But I do know that they are an "outside" company so like the PP said you could probably call them directly and make reservations, just not sure if they would take 180+ day type ADR's.
