Advice Needed on My Christmas WDW Trip Dates!!

Ok, I've booked my first ever Christmas trip to WDW!! I'm so excited about all the different holiday activities going on at the parks and resorts!
One concern.. My dates! Right now I have it booked for Nov 27-Dec 4. Is this going to be a good time? I thought it would be good going after Thanksgiving but before the Christmas rush. Now I'm reading more and more about crowds due to the parade taping and Pop Warner!
Please help either set my mind at ease or help me choose better dates. It would be no problem to change dates, I'm completely flexible!

The first time that we did this time frame (years ago) we were unaware of Pop Warner and the parade taping. In fact, we were in Magic Kingdom the day of the taping. Sure, we found it crowded on that particular day. But with a little pre-planning, you will have a wonderful time. I think late November and early December is a great time to visit.

I have always done my holiday trips the following week (4th-11th) and have tried to avoid MK on taping day. It gets pretty nuts on Main Street. Pop Warner kids (at least in my experience) are easier to deal with than the cheer groups. The food courts were a bit noisy and busier, but we never had a problem with them on buses or in parks.

I would probably move it a week later since you can. Don't miss the Candlelight Processional - try for a weekday instead of weekend because it is popular with locals. Don't worry about the narrator....no matter who we have had it was wonderful.

I think you'll be fine. I've been there during Pop Warner a few times. Typically, we just plan our park days so we don't visit the Magic Kingdom during taping days and since you're not staying at a resort that typically sees the bulk of the Pop Warner participants, you shouldn't have any real issues with either.
