    Default Brown Derby-Any recent reviews

We will be eating at the Brown Derby and doing the Fantasmic Package on December 18th. I decided to use the two credits and eat here instead of Mama Melrose's after reading several good reviews earlier in the year. Recently, I have seen terrible reviews with complaints about long waits, rude servers and subpar food. Most of these were on various travel sites but I also saw one or two on Intercot.

Now I am getting nervous and its too late to change ADR's. Anyone had recent experiences, hopefully good ones they can share?

We had a great lunch there in Oct. But the service was a little slow. The food was wonderful.

We just ate there last week. We had an ADR for 10 minutes before park closing. As a result, the restaurant was barely half full. Let me say, it was a FANTASTIC meal. The mushroom napoleon appetizer was phenomenal. I had duck for a main course and it was equally delicious. I have eaten there several times and I thought that this particular meal was the best I had there yet. Service was not a problem at all, but again, we were there at the end of the night when the place was essentially empty.

No, I believe it was a special. It was not the tortellini.

I ate there twice back in June, as it is one of my favorite places to have lunch in all of WDW.

I've always had fabulous service and I enjoy the more relaxed pace of the meals there. Some of restaurants there seem to just rush you through so they can re-sell the table, and honestly that irks me more than slow service. The food is consistently delicious and well prepared. I'm a huge fan of Brown Derby!

Every time to go to WDW we eat at the Brown Derby. We love the slow pace and welcome it, with open arms, at the end of a busy day.

We have NEVER had a bad experience in all the times that we have eaten there and you can see we have been to WDW a few times

I expected a slow meal, so I booked the 315 Pkg for the 630 show. However, I've been reading about people's meals taking more than 3 hrs....

Feeling a bit better with the comments here though

We had a fabulous meal there in August, and spent about 2 hours at a relaxed pace. I don't think you will have any timing issues at all.
