Default Hidden classic Disney cartoon channels?

In the past, in some of the resorts, there were channels that showed classic Disney cartoons. Maybe channel 98 or 99. Do any of the resorts still have these?

Not that I know of. I think they've all been eliminated. Why, I have no idea. All the guests seemed to love that channel.

Though when I was in the lobby of POR, i did notice that playing on the TV. I forgot to ask about what channel that was. So obviously they have a stream, if not a channel.

I've also seen them in the lobby but not recently on the in-room TV. I know once when we were there during a hurricane and the parks had been closed down, they played them on a channel all day to entertain all of us stuck in the hotel. It's too bad, we all enjoy them so much. It adds to the magic.

Most resorts don't have it anymore. Depends if they have a newer TV or not. It's channel 96, and all the resorts have it on the TV in the lobby.

I read that the digital televisions will not transmit the channel. If you're "lucky" enough to get an older television, channel 96 should show those cartoons. I REALLY miss them because it's what put us to bed every night. I too don't understand why they took them away. We're at Disney for goodness sake. It's not like they're breaking copyright or trademark laws, right?

Its how we got our DS settled down every night on our trips when he was a preschooler. Now he's 7 and our DD is the preschooler. I guess we can hope for an older model tv at Pop Century in October.

The only place with the older model tvs is AS Movies as they haven't had a refurb yet. We've just bought Disney classic cartoons on DVD and bring those along for our kids in the evenings.

Some of the buildings in movies have been redone. I know Dalmatian was done. The Fantasia building we were in was not. You could see the construction workers around property.
