    Default Walkup's for a drink???

We're thinking about taking an evening & enjoying the MK area reasorts (monorail resorts + WL) We'd like to stop in at each of these 4 resorts & enjoy a drink & perhaps a light snack, or something at each. Obviously I know we can go to the "bars" at any of these locations are good options (IE - Mizner's Lounge , Outer Rim, Territory Lounge, etc) But I'm wondering which (if any) of the nice resturants have a bar area that we can just walkup , sit at a the bar & enjoy a drink (& light snack if possible but not necessary). We don't want to be tied down to a schedual this night, so do not want to make any reservations.
My main hopes are for :
California Grill - we've been to this bar before, but it's always been a pre-dinner drink when we've had ressies for dinner there. We don't necessarily need to be there at the time of fireworks or anything, just would like to go up to the bar & enjoy a drink and hopefully one of their delicous flatbreads (again if possible, but not necessary)
Citricos / Narcoossee's - We're not big seafood fans, so have never tried Narcoossee's , but would love the chance to expirence the atmosphere if it would be possible to go sit at the bar. Citricos is the same deal as California Grill for us, we've had a pre-dinner drink at the bar but never gone SOLEY to sit at th bar.
Is it possible to attempt a walk-up bar sitting option for any of these, or is there no such thing? Are the bars there only for the purpose of pre dinner drinks with reservations?
    THANKS

You certainly can walk up to any of those bars. As far as food, check out this thread. Make sure to read it all the way through.

I almost don't want to mention the Wave in the lower level of the Contemporary. I don't want this wonderful, relaxing place to become too popular. I love that I can always find a quiet place to sit and have a relaxing drink at the end of a long hectic day.

But I guess I just did!

    Arrow Monorail Drink-a-Thon!

My wife and I often enjoy a Monorail Drink-a-Thon excursion when we visit the World.

There are many restaurants that "allow" walk-up drinking...

*We have OFTEN had just drinks at the California Grill bar. We often time our beverage for fireworks (we try to arrive about half hour before fireworks during slower times, and an hour during busy times, to get a seat.)

*Narcoosees - this is also a great place to watch fireworks. Grab a drink and head out to the deck off the restaurant.

*Tambu Lounge at 'Ohana - yummy appetizers too. We have taken drinks out to the beach to watch the fireworks...

*Outer Rim in the Contemporary has a great view of the other side of the lake.

Also, be sure, if you have time, to add Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge to your excursion. We love getting a drink in Crockett's at Fort Wilderness and sit in the bar or go outside and sit on the porch. Then we boat over to Wilderness Lodge and get a drink in the Territory Lounge next to Artist's Point or even, when it is nice, get a drink at the pool bar.

Arrival day for us is always a trip to Downtown Disney, a really nice lunch and dinner...followed by a monorail trip with drinks at each stop...I am so ordering your passports for our upcoming trip!!!

One thing I love about the Monorail Drink-a-Thon (MDaT) passports is that there are so many options for beverages at the various monorail resorts (and especially when you add Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge) that you can do the MDaT more than once with the same passports! Sometimes, when it is pleasant outside, we like to just do the pool bars at each resort. Sometimes we like to have appetizers at each place. Sometimes we want to really sit and relax at each location. Sometimes we dress-up and do only the "fancy" lounges. Be sure to always figure out where you want to be for fireworks!
