Can you buy gallons of milk at the resorts and do they fit in the refrigerators?

The headline says it all.. Can you buy gallons milk and fit them in the fridges at the resorts specifically CBR?? Also how much does a gallon of milk run?

When we were there last year it ran around $5.00 a gallon. And they fit in the fridges in all the resorts.

Yes, once you take out the lower shelf, a gallon of milk will fit without problems. They are dorm-sized refrigerators & can actually hold quite a lot.

As far as the actual price at the resort stores, that one I'm not sure of.

Some resorts sell gallons. The ones that are connected to a DVC resort do. The others sell half gallons and small pint sized ones.

We bought a half gallon a couple years ago at Contemporary for $2.99. Not too bad, considering. It's a far better value than buying up the smaller bottles of milk..

POR sells half gallons for around 3.75 and they do fit in the refrigerator.

We use Garden Grocer, and order a styrofoam cooler from them to put all our water, gatoraid a beer in, freeing up the refrigerator for milk, OJ and leftovers. BOY! I sure am glad I read your post, because I realized I forgot to order our cooler! I just added to our shopping cart. Whew!
