Smile The worst ride to get stuck on?

What is the worst ride to get stuck on and why? During our feb trip we got stuck on finding nemo right in front of that big loud fish that comes flying out at you from the dark on an electronic arm. The worst part was the small child in the clam shell next to us was so afraid and screamed for the entire 8 minutes the ride was stuck! Poor kid! We also got trapped on haunted mansion right when the doom buggy goes backwards and reclines down the hill. (hard on the back but was nice to take a break).

It's a Small World. The boats stopped and we were stuck for about 5 minutes (seemed like an hour). My son was 8 at the time and when we went back this past April (he was 10) he absolutely REFUSED to go on that ride again! I'm pretty sure we had that song stuck in our head the rest of the day! LOL

Out of the 5 trips I have taken, only got stuck on 1 ride... splash mountain. It wouldn't have been so bad but it was November, a little chilly and starting to rain, my DD8 HAD to go on it since it was our last day in MK so I figured it would be ok, they had the sprayers turned off... ride stopped us near the beginning in an opening for what seemed like an hour (probably was about 10 mins or so) rain progressively coming down harder and harder until it poured and then we moved... really... my own fault but I came out freezing and soaked

I've been stuck in Spaceship Earth a few times, (20 minutes before) but we love that ride, so not a bad place to be stuck

I have been stuck in Small World and yes, it is endless!

Maybe nearly unanimous for Small World? Though MissTink's Splash experience sounds awful, it's not normally a ride I mind getting stuck on.

    This is a good question.
I actually don't mind getting stuck on any ride. I love every minute more that I get to spend on a ride. Plus I believe that time freezes when you are there. I'm in Disney and I don't get to go on that ride on a daily basis so I enjoy any extra minutes of being on them.
With that being said, I will tell you I wouldn't like to be stuck on mission space....too small of a space to be stuck in Although I have never heard of anyone being stuck on that.....
Tower of Terror is another one....most of it is in pure darkness...I would be scared to death.

My youngest son and I got stuck in the Haunted Mansion in the graveyard once. Totally freaked him out (he was a teenager at the time), although he stayed calm. DH and I got stuck on the chair lift at Blizzard Beach once. The thing came to a stop about 8 feet out from the landing at the top. We sat there for about 10 minutes before they got it moving again. That was a little different!

On my last trip, it was all of them. Every ride at the MK that would stop in the middle of the ride, such as Splash or HM, would stop all the music of the ride and then go into a spiel about how it will be moving soon. I HATED it.

Instead of keeping the ride theme music going, it would cut off and say "Looks like Brer Bear and Brer Fox are causing some comotion downstream. Please stay put while we get things moving again." It would play every time it took a little too long for the logs to be filled at the landing. I would've been ok to hear that spiel once on the ride - but it happened 8 or 9 times! I'm sure it all stems from when that not-so-bright dude decided to crawl out of the log when it had stopped. Now the lawyers are telling the execs to play the spiel to protect the company from people who don't think.

I would love it if Disney went back to just keeping the music running. All we have to do is stay in the ride vehicle until we get to the exit. We're smart people, we'll figure it out.

Not to hijack the thread, but the coolest one we have been stuck on was Space Mountain. They had to turn on all of the lights, so you could see everything. For some that might ruin the magic of the ride, but we liked seeing how it all came together

This isn't exactly a ride, but the worst PLACE I ever got stuck was in the pre-show on Test Track. We went in and saw the show, then they somehow opened 2 doors at once. They told us to go back into the room and the door closed again. Then they seemed to forget about us as we just sat in that tiny closed rooms for several minutes. Then, when a door finally opened, it was to let in another large group of people. We started yelling "we're still in here." and they finally stopped the flow of people coming in. But then we had to watch the pre-show AGAIN in a tiny room now filled with 50 percent more people, before the other door finally opened again. All in all, what should have been a 10 minute wait took us about 40 minutes.

Was stuck on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad when I was little. I remember it quite well because we were stopped right before the second chain lift and that little shack they have there. It was in the middle of the summer, middle of the day, and about 100 degrees for an hour with no water or anything. THE WORST time ever...

Only good thing about it is that we got to go inside the mountain. That was really cool.

We also got stuck on Splash Mountain once for about 15 mins. It was about 95 degrees out and we were sitting in the sun the entire time. Our only saving grace was that we were going up the hill to the left of the main drop, and were being sprayed with huge amounts of water every 20 seconds. We were completely soaked from head to toe, and we hadn't even gone down the drop yet. It is funny now, but we weren't too happy during the fiasco.
In need of a Disney World fix really bad.

We got stuck in Winnie The Pooh for long enough that all of the lights came on.

It was a total bummer because the illusion was lost as you looked at a bunch of strings hanging from the ceiling (which normally gives the appearance of rain), as well as the dinginess of everything that you don't see when the lights are off and the 'black lights' on.

Am I the only one finding this thread hilarious? I mean, these all sound awful but you can laugh about them later (that crazy fish on the arm scaring the child, I can so imagine that being my kid!). That Brer Bear speech played numerous times when I was there a few weeks ago. I think the worst part is having to explain to your 5 year old why they keep saying that!

I have always had a fear of getting stuck upside down on a ride, so my vote is for RnRC. I think I would have a nervous break down if I were stuck in an upside down position. Otherwise -- all in good fun.

I was stuck in Its A Small World for about 10 minutes where everyone is wearing white. To make it worse the only reason we rode it was because it started to storm and we figured we would dodge the rain. I think I will take the rain next time

I totally know what you mean. We got stuck on it probably at the same time as you. I also got stuck on that ride last April right at the top of the big hill before the drop. We sat there for about 20 minutes, and then they had to unload everyone and walk us out the back exit. That was very interesting.

The worst thing I was stuck on though was the TTA or people mover. UGH. We were stuck on there for a looooong time once, in an area where there was nothing to see. It was hot and awful. I don't ever want to be stuck on that one again. Also on the same trip, we were stuck in one room of the Carousel of Progress. I know every word of "Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!"
