DDP Trading dessert for water at Quick Service locations

I have always traded my dessert at quick service locations for bottles of water. I told a friend about this, but she said they wouldn't let her do it last week. She only tried at one place. So, I'm wondering if she got an unknowledgable CM or if they are no longer allowing this. Thanks in advance.

You can still use a snack credit for a water bottle or soda.

I've never heard that you could do that, and with the plan these days, Disney is pretty strict on how to use "your entitlements".

With the exception that every cashier is different and has a completely different take on things!!

In the old days you could do stuff like that in 2007 we did that stuff, but not in the past few years.

One day, while on the DDP, a cashier CM nearly twisted my arm trying to get me to order adult meals for my kids. Gosh darnit, my kids wanted the kid meal nuggets, not the adult ones.
