Extra Magic Hour Crowds

We are planning our next trip for June. We have a number of departure dates under consideration. We are researching extra magic hours. How much impact do EMH have on crowds at HS. Anumber of nights HS is open until 9:00 and othernights until 7:00. We are trying to deciode whether we need an EMH night where HS is open until 10:00. Would HS be more or less crowded on a EMH night. We are considering altering our travel dates to make certain we have an EMH night at HS and don't know whether this is necessary

personally I think if you plan your trip around the early hours/ late hours, make sure you get up that early to take advantage of that. What we do is go to the early hour park, and once theat park gets too crowded, which it always does, we park hop to another park.
the late hours are always awesome. it's never crowded.

one thing is that Epcot future world is often opened later than advertised, even when its not late hours.

The parks that have extra magic hours to tend to attract increased crowds on those days. Additionally, due to the limited scheduled of Fantasmic showings, crowds at Disney Studios tends to go up on days when this show is scheduled - particularly for folks who do not have park hopping capability.

I don't think i would alter travel plans based just on EMH nights. While the Studios seems to be uncrowded, the wait times for rides tend to be long on those nights. There just isn't a large enough number of attractions there to avoid standing in line.

I think you absolutely need to see that park at night at least once... Its so amazing at night, especially to ride ToT and just to see it lit up!!! Do you have park hoppers? If you're concerned about lines I'd go to HS another day and make sure you ride everything you want to ride and go back that last night for the ambiance and a spin on ToT. And I might be wrong but on nights that Fantasmic is offered, wouldn't lines throughout the rest of the park be a bit lower starting maybe an hour before showtime? Just make sure you're in line for ToT before Fantasmic ends! (As a side note, one year we got seats for Fantasmic about an hour beforehand and then my sister and I went and rode ToT in the interim!!!)

Also as a side note, if you are going to Fantasmic, put off dinner if you can and bring some takeaway in with you and eat it there while you wait!!!
