Well we leave for the airport in 17 hours! No better time than now (not like I'm going to sleep) to do a pre-trip report.

Somehow I convinced my wife to make our second trip in a year to WDW. I played it off as going for the marathon, but we all know that is second (or way down the line really) to everything else down there. This trip has been in the works since April or May, by far the furthest out I have ever planned a Disney trip. I don't know how any of you that plan a year or two in advance can do it!
We leave 1/7 from MCI at 5:50 and hopefully arive at 9:30 and won't have to mess with our luggage and just go straight to ME for our journey to Pop. We have a room only for the first two nights, so after I pick up my race packet at the World of Sports, we will head to DTD and maybe the Boardwalk for a little while. I'm looking forward to taking DS to the Lego Store, he is really into them!
Sunday I will be waking up bright and early to catch that 3am bus to the marathon start! Yikes! It looks like the weather is going to be great so as long as my knee holds up it will be a great morning! After the race I plan on catching part of the Chiefs playoff gamethen it's off to Mama Melrose for a Fantasmic! Dinner Package. A nice easy evening and early to bed after the show. The next morning is Epcot!
Our current plan is:
Monday- Epcot, LeCellier dinner
Tuesday- MK, CP 8:05 (our first time prior to rope drop, I'm looking forward to pics of the kids on an empty Main Street)
Wednesday- DHS, SciFi Drive In lunch
Thursday-AK, `Ohana
Friday- MK, 1900 PF
Saturday-EP morning, MK for Liberty Tree dinner and MSEP! SO looking forward to this for the first time since 2000 and a first for the kiddos!
Sunday- MK, Whispering Canyon dinner. Our kids loved WL so much last time, and we couldn't afford it this time so we had to at least make it here on our last night!
We have a 10am flight home on the 17th, which I'm sure will come way too fast!
We're hoping for good weather and good crowds, and no running injuries.
I will have the daily trip reports updated as soon as I can! See you all in a couple of weeks!![]()
