First time doing Disney in December! Day 8

Well, time never stops, so December 11th had to come sooner or later. The inlaws were kind enough to take care of getting our luggage checked in and carry ons to Bell Services. DH, DS, DD and I headed to...bet you can guess...MK! Today was the first day that was crowded. (by my standards anyway.) It was a bright, sunny, warmer Saturday so I expected it to be busier.

We did several rides before the inlaws joined us for an early lunch at the Crystal Palace. What a great surprise this was! We've eaten here before, for breakfast, and the food was only so-so and we didn't get to see all the characters. This lunch was fantastic. We saw Pooh and all his friends early on, which we like because then we can kind of "relax" and eat. My first trip up didn't even get me over to the carved meats and hot things. There were so many salads I was enjoying, almost humming while eating. I was so full after that plate I headed right for desserts and they did not disappoint. All 6 of us were pleased and very full. Will absolutely do a repeat lunch in the future. And it's so pretty in there too.

After lunch we split up and I was on my own to get to the bakery and use up our last 10 or so snack credits. We met up soon after for a round trip train ride. Had only done partial trips earlier in the week. Then it was time to head back to OKW and wait for ME, etc, etc, you know the drill.

Ending thoughts:
JetBlue spoiled us. The flight home was so much nicer with television. And the snack assortment was very good. Will be hard to go back to Southwest.

All the CM's were great (except the one waitress at Mama Melrose, hopefully just a bad night for her) and helpful.

We liked our plan to visit HS and AK first, and spend the bulk of our time at MK and Epcot, those being our favorites.

We'd like to be on the monorail loop next time, or at a resort with one bus stop.

Looks like January 2012 will be our next trip and it will be adults only! Either just DH and I or it's possible that his brother and wife may join us.
