First time doing Disney in December! Day 4

First day at Magic Kingdom

Yes, another cold day. But everyone in our group agreed we'd take the cold anytime if it means no lines! We didn't really even have to use fast pass...Splash was a walk on, did that 3 times I think. Space was a walk on for the first half of the day, later still only a 5-10 min wait, same thing for Big Thunder and Buzz. Very short wait for IASW, HM, Jungle Cruise, Astro Orbitor, Pooh, etc. You get the idea.

Lunch at Pinnochio's was fine, nothing exciting though. Dinner was at Whispering Canyon. Had to wait 45 minutes past our ADR, maybe because we requested to sit in the main dining area. Got a very fun waiter, threw straws and napkins, got DS with the ketchup thing, etc. Everyone had the skillet which was good. It was great to see the Lodge's Christmas decorations, we also checked out the villa's as we hope to stay there eventually. By this time it was getting pretty late and we were all beat, so we just went back to OKW to bed.

The "no lines" part had to be great. The cold, maybe not so much! At any rate, sounds like you were able to see all your favorites at MK.

Not sure I would have tackled Splash on a cold day and certainly not 3 times!

The short lines are a delight but I'd much prefer warmer weather!

Lucky for us, both DH and I prefer cold to hot, and we came prepared with parkas, hats, gloves since it was pretty cold and we had to be bundled up to go to the airport anyway. We're near Buffalo.

I'll admit the 3rd time on Splash was rough! The first 2 didn't get us wet at all, third time was not a charm! I think we spent a half hour in the Splash gift shop trying to dry off.
