Do I also need park ticket for MVMCP?

I already purchased by tix for the party, but cant remember if I also need a ticket for admission to MK, or if it's included in the party ticket? I think I (unfortunately) know the answer to this one.

No, you don't need separate admission. The event ticket will get you into the park for the festivities after 4 p.m.

You'll only need a regular park ticket it you plan to arrive at the Magic Kingdom before admission on your party ticket is allowed. Beginning around 4 p.m., you can enter on your party ticket only.

Last year we got our wristbands - went to dinner and returned for the party - had to go to motel to get out MCMCP tickets - just the band did not allow entry - so I suggest you take your ticket for the party, and the park ticket just for time's sake, It is great - you will have a great time. One year we went and it rained so no shows were on - no parade, etc. I contacted Disney when we got home - and received a complete refund.
