Trails End - No Longer Buffet at lunch

My wife and I , along with my parents, love to visit Trails End at Fort Wilderness.

We were a little surprised last week when we stopped by at lunchtime expecting to enjoy their delicious buffet (I love their Cornbread and Chili!). The hostess outside informed us the lunch was now a la carte!!!

We decided to eat there anyway and we were glad that we did. Lunch was delicious!! My dad and I each had the burger...very good! My mom had the catfish and she enjoyed hers as well. My wife had the chicken and waffles, and oh my goodness was that good!!! She reluctantly shared some with me. The chicken was probably the tastiest and juciest we have ever had. And the waffle was also very good.

They still have the buffet for Breakfast and Dinner, but not lunch. But don't let that keep you away at lunchtime...just plan accordingly if you are craving their buffet!

Glad to know dinner and breakfast are still buffet, but sad to hear about lunch. Trail's End is a long time favorite of ours
