Yes! I'm 22 and I get choked up at Wishes the most. The first time I saw it was the worst. For some reason when Aladdin says, "Genie, I wish your freedom!" it gets me!

Fantasmic, IllumiNations, and The American Adventure get me choked up as well. And I think Mickey's PhilharMagic did it to me once too!

Oh and Soarin got me once too. I was riding by myself and just hearing everybody "ooh" and "aahh" and seeing the fireworks at Disneyland at the end....I'm a sucker...

I get choked up watching the stuff of YouTube! I've only been to WDW once, at 13 years old. I'll be going next June, at age 36, with DH (37), & DD (5) for their first trip. I can't wait and I'll be sporting the sunglasses to try to hide my teary eyes!

Spectromagic does it for me. My daughter bought the CD a few years ago and I begin to get choked up if we even listen to it in the CAR!

Me too! Actually, just a couple years ago I FINALLY saw the little opening of Magic Kingdom where the train pulls into the Main Street Station and they toss pixie dust. I was so teary eyed! The parades are so well done that they get me choked up. I can only smile when my little daughter looks at me, otherwise I get choked up! AHH!

On my last trip it was baaaad... My first site of the castle, was my daughter's first EVER site of the castle, and we just happened to walk in during a parade! Oh it was ugly.

The only parade that really hits home w/ me is Spectro. There is something about the song, the ambiance, etc. that just takes me straight back to being a kid. I think that parade really embodies the magic and wonder of WDW, especially as seen through the eyes of a child, so it is like its own time machine for me.

Default welling up at flag lowering

For me it's the flag lowering ceremony at the Magic Kingdom just after 5pm. They honor a Vet who salutes the flag. Last week I was standing next to the wife and family of a Korean War Vet and to see him stand so proudly at the flag and salute so crisply made me think of what he might have gone through, what his first salute might have been like and the sacrfice that all of our armed forces and their families make. Whatever opinions we have about the assignment, the fact is that these folks VOLUNTEER to be in harm's way. That ceremony gets me every time...

THANK YOU to you and your families if you have ever served or are currently serving.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who tears up when I watch the Christmas parade on TV! Watching them in person also gets to me - I love Spectromagic.

When I last went in 04, The parades were amazing. Wouldn't say they made me cry (apart from 01 I think it was, when I had a bad reaction to pool water meaning I couldn't look at the lights), but the nighttime parade is definitely something special. And you can't not be stunned by the fireworks. As far as I'm concerned Disney do the best fireworks there are.
