If I have to cancel our trip.....

We may have to cancel our trip in December due to some family situations. I already paid for our MVMCP tix and from what I understand from our travel agent, I will lose all the money I paid for them, $220! Does anyone know any other option I may have? I know if I rebook our trip, I won't lose my deposit with Disney. And if I rebook my SW flights by next summer I can use the credit.

How about try selling the mvmcp tickets on ebay?

or maybe call your credit card company and ask if they have any existing protection plan for this? (like some cc's automatically protect for certain kinds of online purchases etc)

I didn't buy any yet, and we will be in WDW 12/5-12/9.

I'd hate to see you eat them, espessially for reasons beyond your control.

Please be aware that these tickets are non-transferable which means that Disney does not allow you to sell them to others. Intercot terms of service do not allow discussion of how to "beat the system".

wdwnutz, I'm sorry you may need to cancel. I have heard of times when Disney has refunded the cost of these tickets (though they are not required to do so). I'd suggest you contact Disney directly to discuss your particular situation.
