Why Magical Journeys?

Why should I use Magic Journeys to book my next vacation? Are they able to get discounts not made to the public? What's the difference if I book my trip on disneyworld.com or with Magical Journeys?

If you book your trip directly with Disney, you will get reservations and go on your trip - no problem.

If you book with Magical Journeys, you will have Disney experts who are available to answer all the questions you may have. Additionally, if a special comes along that will save you money, Magical Journeys will be sure that your reseration is modified to include the discount.

No, they dont' have discounts that aren't generally available but they often know about discounts right away so can secure them for your as soon as they are available!

You will never work with a nicer, more professional group of folks!

the sequal. I used to book all my own trips, but I've used Magical Journeys since 2004 and would never do anything else now. Wendy always helps me figure out just the right plan for my trip. MUCH better customer service than through the WDW website. Plus, it's nice dealing with the same person year after year as opposed to a random CM every time I call. After 5 years we consider Wendy an honorary member of my family.

I recommend MJ to anyone who says they are going to Disney. We always use Wendy and she has never let us down. It's that little bit of extra personal service that has made all of the difference in our vacation planning.

Why MJ?
THAT is what my DBF said when we booked our AKL-Concierge trip a few months back. I told him that I wouldn't book a WDW or DCL cruise without Melissa .
He was slightly skeptical until I showed him the email from her that noted the $600+ savings after she had applied the free DDP to our reservation. We had opted for the DDP and I suspected that it might be free but it was not when we booked the trip.
He is a convert!
Melissa also suggested trip insurance for my last DCL vacation. My travel partner got the Norwalk virus and was quarantined almost the entire cruise. The insurance reimbursed us for the lost time. I highly recommend Melissa , MJ and trip insurance!

We used to book our own trips but have used Wendy the last couple of trips to Disney as well as a non-Disney cruise. I've recommended her and the agency to other friends, one who used to work for the food service company that services WDW and he was also very happy with their services. He had gotten a couple of other quotes, but after dealing with Wendy, he booked it through her instead of the others.
As someone else said, they'll keep an eye out to see if there are any better discounts available, and will automatically apply them. Wendy also reminded us when to make our ADRs etc.

I am kind of a control freak about planning and booking my WDW vacations but I started using Melissa and Magical Journeys about five years ago and it has been great. Melissa fines me the best deal, makes any changes I may want to make, and when Disney offers a promotion she makes the change for me. They give me peace of mind. Go Melissa and Magical Journeys

This is our second time using Magical Journeys and working with Karen. She simply is the best!!! This time we had to change our days add, take off, change when we arrive or leave, due to our daughters who are in college and it was such a breeze to contact her and ask if she could do this for us. No problems at all.

I wish we had used them for all our previous trips we would have saved some frustration. You simply can't go wrong....Magical Journeys is the best!

Terrisue is our trusted gal from MJ . . . we've been A/P holders since 2002, and found that we were getting locked out of any discounted rates at our preferred resort since there are limited discounts available. MJ makes sure that if there are any reduced rates during our stay (A/P, AAA room-only, Chase Disney Visa, etc) that they are applied to our reservation so that we get the best value for our dollar without any cost to us. I've used Kathy for the past 2 years and she's absolutely wonderful. Whenever another deal comes along she'll email to tell me she rebooked or that I have a better deal than the new promo.

Also she forwards me the info for the special events like MNSSHP before they are available to the general public.

It's a great way to book a vacation and not have to worry about anything.

Here is another reason to use MJ.....a friend of mine walked into AAA in April to book a Thanksgiving package -- full boat: Pirate room at CBR, hopper tix and dining pkg......now I find out that she PAID for dining and people are getting it for free! I told her to contact MJ to have her AAA ressie converted and work with them -- they do all the work for you and AAA just does nothing when new specials come out!

AAA is good for some things, just not saving you money when you book far in advance for Disney trips.

Personally, I don't understand the hype.

I tried to book through both MJ and AAA this year. When the quote came back from both of them - they were exactly the same (to the penny).

I personally like AAA myself because of the AAA parking at the parks. Of course, if you don't drive, then this is not a big deal, but we drive and find it so much more convienent to park right up by the handicaped parking (and to not have to use Disney transportation).
