DVC Seminar Email

I received an email from Disney about a DVC seminar at a hotel in my area. Has anyone ever been to one of these? Do they give any special offers if you buy a DVC at the seminar? More pts for less or anything? Thanks for any info. I'm at the world now and loving every minute of it!!

We got an email for a seminar on Long Island. We live near Boston. We did not get an email invitation for the seminar in Boston earlier this year. Some people on Intercot liked the seminar and bought more points.

I am going to the one in Garden City. If it is like the one I attended last month in WDW then yes there are special offers available at the event!

Do you have to recieve an invite to go or can anyone go to the seminar?
