    Question Disney Quest

How long should I plan for us to do this with 2 - 10 year old boys?

Is this a couple few hour evening thing or an all day event?
Whirlwind trip in '96 *1 day all 3 parks*

Aug '08 - Wilderness Lodge (6 days) - Honeymoon Suite
Aug '08 Coronado Springs (2 days)

    May '09 - POP (8 days)

    May '11 - POP (8 days)

Between Virtual PotC, the Alien Encounter simulator and the Buzz Lightyear bumper cars, you could lose HOURS to just 2 attractions, nevermind all the other fun things to see and do in there...
It may not be an all day thing, but you'll want at least a good 3-4 hours to really see and do everything.
    Enjoy!

You can make it as long as you'd like. To get your monies worth I would plan on at least 5 hours. $40/each for 2 hours just wouldn't seem worht it to me.
Too many trips to keep track of now! Vacation WDW twice a year so any questions ask freely ☺️

I would let the tykes know ahead of time just how much time you will be spending at Disney Quest. I would think 4 hours should be enough, just do not go in the evenings or on a bad weather day as DQ gets real crowded.

My wife, daughter (9 at the time), and sister (20) thought we'd go there for a couple hours on a trip a few years ago.

We stayed for about 10 hours and loved every minute.

My boys first went when they were 12 and 9. We had the water park & more options with our passes. I went with them the first visit and we stayed about 4 hours while DW relaxed at the hotel. We let them go back on a second visit on that trip and they stayed another 4 hours at DQ by themselves while DW & I shopped DTD. They could have stayed longer, but 4 hours at a time was enough. And as much fun as they had at DQ, they still have more fun in the theme parks and water parks.

I would always suggest plan an afternoon - about 4/5 hours so you have plenty of time to try all that Disney Quest has to offer!

I find one of the best things is the amount of arcade machines and old-skool games - old Mario's and Pacman's that sometimes people neglect trying to do the bigger attractions!

When I went with my family when I was younger, my parents would leave me and go sit in the cafe area if they got bored and give me a set time to be back with them so I could play without dragging them around with me!

We're trying it out in May. I'm on medications that will force me out of the parks in the afternoon until it cools down (unless the weather is unseasonably cool) so I thought this would be fun to try. Plus Dbf is addicted to video games so this should be perfect for him. I figure that I can always leave him happily playing while I go off and happily spend his money! We got the water parks and more so I'm thinking we'll split our afternoons with one at each water park, two at DQ, and then the others spent wherever or doing whatever we want (like the resort pool or a nap!).

TWO 10 year old BOYS...HA HA HA...

Start them early and feed them pizza...pick them them up in time for college and they'll never know you left.

Maybe about 4-5 hours ought to give them the opportunity to do everything a few times

I would say few hour thing. Unless you are the type of person that has to do EVERYTHING, including the more popular attractions that require a wait (make your own roller coaster, POTC virtual ride). I can not imagine spending a whole day in this place.
Next trip - Sep29-Oct4! Free QS dining at POP. First trip with both kids. (6th total visit)

Ha! I couldn't either, but having two teenage boys now, I have no doubt that they could easily stay in there all day along if we weren't going to a theme/water park.
