Preferred rooms at Pop worth the extra money?

DH and I have decided to head back to the World in February thanks to the 4/3 promotion. We're going to be at Pop (the only value available during our dates) and were wondering if it's worth it to upgrade to a preferred room? When we were at Pop in 2007, we were in room 9119 ( a standard room) which was a relatively short walk across the parking lot to the bus stop/main building and we didn't have any issue with noise. Should we book preferred or just try our luck again with standard? It's only about a $70 price difference.

We don't book preferred and never had an issue.

It depends on how you handle how tired you are when you get back from the parks or trips back and forth to the food court.

$70 for a little convenience to me is well worth it.

We always do prefered at Pop. I like to be close to the food court and bus. We always stay in building 4 rooms 4109-4111.

For DH & I it wasn't worth the extra money that we paid in Sept. 2007 for preferred. We got stuck in the 60's building, backside, view of nothing & about as far away from elevator, pool, buses and food court as you possibly could be and the room still be considered preferred. After that we just booked standard at the value resorts and take our chances. So far we've been much luckier than we were paying for preferred with our room selections......
