I'm making my first trip to jellyrolls and was wondering what to expect as far as dress code and atmosphere...

My DH and I went to Jellyrolls last September and it was awesome! The atmosphere is laid-back, but very loud. Don't expect to be able to have regular conversations - I had to shout everything into my DH's ear. Dress would be casual - no need for fancy clothes. Be ready to sing along - I don't think I've ever had so much fun at a bar!

Jeans and a t-shirt are perfectly okay... it is really laid back...

One thing to mention... smoking is allowed, so don't wear something that you are going to be upset with smelling like smoke...

Wow, smoking is allowed? With all the people at WDW who have demanded smoke-free rooms, this surprises me.

My wife and I were hoping to visit Jellyrolls next month, but cigarette smoke makes me ill.

All of the bars and restaurants up here in Mass. and RI have banned smoking. I wish the same were true in Florida.

Yeah, after all the places around here that have banned it, I forgot to think that because it is a bar and food is not being served, they can still smoke. It bugs me at first and then I get used to it unless someone is right next to me smokin away and then ... But it is totally worth it, I promise!

Actually, they do serve food at Jellyrolls. Bar-type foods, usually high in salts and fats (for people who are drinking a lot, these types of food help combat the hangovers in the morning, along with alternating with water).

I'll have to bug them next time about the food, cause I was hungry and I needed SOMETHING to absorb the adult beverages I was enjoying that evening...lol
