July Jewel's 2nd WDW Vacation 8-10/8-15 Day 1

We arrived at Disney Last Sunday on August 10. After we checked in, we went to DTD. My daughter, who is 8, had an appt at the BBB for 6:10 so we got to take our time and really look around at things. We were quite thirsty and found the best frozen lemonade at a pretzel stand.

We then head over to the BBB, where my daughter got her make over as Snow White for the second year in a row. All of us had a good time and the photopass lady did the cutest picture. She had my husband kiss my daughter's hand after she had been transformed. I told him I was going to put that picture out the day she got married.

In the meantime, my son was hamming it up for the fairy godmothers and the photopass people. My daughter was the only one in the room who was Snow WHite and everyone made a fuss over her. She likes to be fussed over and everyday that she wore her costume, people fussed over her. We went to get a free sample of a chocolate and we had her do a photo session eventhough we did not do the Castle Package, we wanted to have the pics added to our DVD.

How were you able to get the photo session on your photopass card even without getting the castle package? I would love to do the photo session for my DD, but I don't want to get the castle package since it is so expensive. Thanks for the info.

Nice start to your trip. My girls love BBB too. I think all little girls love to be fussed over. Mine loved all the attention they got. Can't wait to read your other posts.

What a wonderful start for your trip for your daughter. It must be so awesome to watch that as a parent. They started all this BBB stuff too late for my daughter to participate. Guess I will have to hope for a granddaughter someday. Thanks for reporting.
