Default What would you do for breakfast at the Boardwalk?

We will be staying at the Boardwalk in June and my DF is very used to having a food court around that he can load up on a large breakfast at, but I know that there is not a food court at the Boardwalk.

So... my question is - where can you eat a substantial breakfast in the area that's going to fill up a grown guy so we don't hear about how he "just had a muffin" all morning? Would anyone recommend walking over to the Swan & Dolphin or is there somewhere else?

there is the boardwalk bakery but if he wants a meat, egg, waffle ( Good soakage as the Irish say)breakfast then I would recommend either Fresh at the Dolphin or Picabu, (kinda like the lunch line at school but decent)
I believe there is a breakfast place in the Swan also but I have never been there.

The Boardwalk Bakery has a breakfast panini that is very substantial - egg & bacon or egg & tomato. Plus lots of pastries, and juice and coffee. But unless you get there early the line is out the door.

Spoodles serves a great breakfast. It's a little more expensive than food court fare, but not unreasonable at all.

We like the Boardwalk Bakery and Spoodles.

Right across the lake at the Beach Club is Cape May Cafe - a character buffet.
Also, the Captain's Grill (formerly Yacht Club Galley) is a buffet, but no characters.

The Boardwalk Bakery has always offered some kind of breakfast sandwich/burrito/etc., but having tasted the breakfast pannini just a few weeks ago, I can attest that it's quite filling and yummy to boot! There's also the Beach Club Marketplace that's a 10 minute (or short boat ride) away.

Fresh, at the Dolphin is a nice place for breakfast. I stayed at the Dolphin during one of my recent trips and ate breakfast there everyday.

They have a daily buffet or you can order from the menu. The buffet includes made to order omlettes, pancakes, waffles, and eggs any way you want them.

The food is excellent and wait staff is very very good.

The atmosphere is . . . well . . . nice. Not overly elegant, just very nice.

The walk to and from the Boardwalk will enable you to justify the calorie intake.

If you're looking for a table service breakfast, I'd probably try Spoodles. I have a reservation there for our trip in May, and the menu looks delicious. I don't think I could handle such a big meal every morning, but it seems like a good option in the Epcot area.

For breakfast the Bellevue Room (BW Inn section) offers the same as the BW Bakery only in nicer atmosphere, it also honors cup refills.

I'd suggest Cape May at the Beach Club..I love that buffet! Also, the bakery is a great option as previous posters have mentioned.
