    Default Another "cooking" question

For those of you who stay in a Studio, what kinds of foods/meals can easily be prepared?

We most likely will do DDP, so will only need to perhaps make breakfast (which is usually eggs, toast & bacon).

In the studios, you will only have a toaster, a coffee pot, a microwave and a refrigerator, so I think that making a meal would be tough. We have done bagels, cereal and pop-tarts etc for breakfast, but that is about all the kitchenette is good for. You don't get a full kitchen unless you have a one bedroom or larger.

Ok, thanks - wasn't sure about that! Guess we'll just eat at roaring forks (yummy egg, bacon & cheese croissant...*drool*). =)

Our second week is a one bedroom at Beach Club so we should be sweet there for making our own breakfast.

You won't have any trouble cooking in the one bedroom. Since you are on the DDP, you can use your snack credits for some breakfast items, bagels, english muffins, pop-tarts etc. That is what we do and it works out great.

While staying in a Studio, we usually have cereal (individual boxes are great), toaster pastries, breakfast sandwiches (perfect for the microwave) and maybe some donuts. And always a pot of coffee!!
