    Default Not using dining plan

We think we are going to pay straight out for our meals...we have two little girls (3 yrs) who really aren't big eaters. Can they share children's entrees? Or do I have to purchase each child a meal? We will be eating at Mama Melrose, Chef Mickey's, Cape May CAfe and 1900 Park Fare.

How would a buffet work? I would think I would have to purchase meals for both at a buffet?

    Thanks,

    Kristina

Yes, you'd have to pay for buffets for both of them, but I don't think there would be a problem with ordering one child's meal at a regular TS and supplementing off of your plates restaurants are pretty accomodating, we generally order one adult meal for our 6 year olds and split it.

Yes, you will have to pay for both at buffets, but at TS restaurants, you can order a meal to share, or even just get them appetizers, etc.

When my DD was 3, she had a strange love of chicken noodle soup...and would eat it whenever and wherever she could!

At a TS restaurant you would have to pay for both children whether they eat or not. This goes for the buffets as well.

You can most definatley share meals at TS. Buffet type meals you'll have to purchase one for each. We have not done the DP yet, it's just not "seemingly" cost effective for us..fam of 5.......with very picky eaters.......my sister did the DP and with their meals compared to ours it was very close to the same......by the way......please have fun!!!!!!!!!

I'm not exactly sure why anyone would have to pay if they weren't eating? We have the boys split adult entrees all the time with no issues whatsoever. Buffets are one thing, you have a "come in the door" charge, but any TS has to allow you to sit and have nothing but a glass of water if you are with other people.

I also do not purchase the DDP and we usually do one TS meal per day and the rest are CS. My kids don't eat a lot due to their picky eating and I try to not eat big meals and eat smaller meals throughout the day. We don't do any buffets as this would be a waste of money for us.

Anyone can share at a TS resturant, except buffetts and family style. DH and I shared TS a few times as did my DD and DS. We had no problems at all! Portions are huge at TS and CS places. I say it is extremely cost effective to share when ever and where ever you can! !
