I'm thinking about buying the 50th anniversary version of pal mickey on ebay. Does anyone know if he is compatible with Expedition Everest and other semi-new attractions? Thanks!

The Happiest Celebration Edition is version 2 out of 3.
The Where Magic Lives edition is currently the most complete as far as attraction information.
Even by the end of the Year of A Million Dreams, the original (version 1.0 of 3.0) Pal Mickey will only have something on the order of 5% outdated information.

I think it would be cool that with the cost of Pal Mickeys, it would be a nice feature if a Pal Mickey would be automatically updated each trip you visited WDW.
I know there are handheld games that allow WiFi access to specific games throughout WDW (or am I mistaken here?), so why couldn't they put a chip into a Pal Mickey to update every visit?
I read somewhere that you can get them updated in MK. Not sure if that's true or not but I'm sure somebody out here knows.
