    Default Catholic Mass

We will be at Ft. Wilderness from Saturday to Friday without a rental car. Are there worship services anywhere within Disney? Does anyone know where the closes Catholic church is and how easy it is to get there without rental car transportation?

    Thanks,
    Mike P.

One time I went to Disney on Christmas with my Catholic uncle and he went to mass at the Contemporary resort. I believe they hold mass there.

    1) Except for Easter, there are no longer services on-site.
    2) The closest catholic church is somewhat near Downtown Disney.
    3) About $15-$20 one-way by taxi, based upon your resort.
    4) Google "Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine".

    Welcome to Intercot!

Unfortunately, they stopped holding religious services on site several years ago.

Here's http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/...us/default.asp some additional information you might find helpful.

While at Ft. Wilderness, we went to mass for Ash Wednesday at the church near DTD. Was not hard to get to.

Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine is the closest place to WDW. You cannot walk there, as it is on the other side of I-4. However, it is probably only about a 5 minute taxi ride from DTD. It is a beautiful place, definately worth visiting. It is really large, so get there a little early to get a space to park. It has a great little gift shop that is also worth a visit.

I second the KUDOS. It is great when you can make time for your Lord on vacay. I wish I can do that, the closest thing to church I do, is watching the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) for a few minutes, But I always bring my Bible. God bless you on your trip
