I wonder how many people they can get on a server at one time this time. Doesn't it seem like they should take away the report bug system for these tests since we won't have it during the offical game time. It should help speed up the game alot compared to the 2 FPS I get anymore.

I just got the email too but after I download it then install it I click on the icon and it says the file has been moved and can not be used. I am so confused. I am wondering if I should use a different computer than my laptop. what should I do?

I might defer to Varcity or Fan on this one, but one question. Do you have XP running? I know for the beta testing you have to be running on XP. Might want to try that before the others respond. Not sure what else it could be.

I'd say go to the desktop if it has better memory and everything. Laptop's aren't known to have as much power as desktop's at the same prices, especially if you have a higher end desktop.

Anyway, my brother's e-mail account just got the invitation too. Looks like they are really pushing this stress test on Sunday.

This Sunday, April 22, we'll hold our second official Stress Test to get a feel for the game's current capacity based on the latest game build. Data from this test, coupled with all of your feedback throughout the beta period, will help us to optimize the game, and allow us to deliver the best experience possible for the launch later this spring.


So... let's go ahead and push the game to its limits! Grab your pirate brethren (as long as they also have beta access) and join the adventure from noon until 3 pm (PDT) this Sunday. Remember, this is still beta and all the extra pirates might produce some extra problems - thanks for your support!

Just got my code and logged on.

Just so you guys know, game is laggy regardless of your system.

I have a gaming system with dual core cpu, 2gb memory and a 512mb memory card and it is still very laggy/choppy.
