I'll update this first post each day with the forecast (though I'll occasionally miss a day), both long and short term. As a general rule, up to 7 days is a pretty accurate forecast, beyond that it's educated guessing and largely dependent upon how well the models are doing at that moment, which is why I call it "voodooland." If you have any specific weather questions or comments, even if it's for an area other than WDW, please post and I'll answer throughout the thread. I'll also post weather tidbits every so often. Without further delay, let's get to the forecast:

Weather at WDW - Update Wednesday pm, November 30, 2016
Another high of 83-84 today with a gusty NE wind. A few sprinkles are possible. For tomorrow, a few scattered showers will be about as a front pushes through, but there's only about a 40% chance of any one location getting wet. If it does rain where you are it won't be significant or long lasting. Then Friday through Wednesday looks dry. Fronts continue to fizzle as the try to move south of I-10. The high tomorrow will be 81-83, but then only 70 on Friday as the front comes through. Expect Friday to be a little breezy, too. 70 obviously isn't cold (unless you're a Floridian who bundles up if it dips below 75) but with the wind you might want a long sleeve shirt or light jacket, especially in the evening when the temps will dip. Saturday should be around 75 then 77-79 for Sunday through Wednesday.

Long range...Dec 8 stays dry with a high around 80 but then storms move through on Dec 9. Dec 10-16, right now, looks like it will stay dry as most fronts continue to be deflected away from the Florida peninsula, but it's a very active pattern so I wouldn't be surprised to see some rain during that time frame. Highs will stay around 75.

Travel Issues
Boston, NYC, Philadelphia and DC have some minor delays from low clouds. Atlanta is delayed with thunderstorms. No major issues tomorrow.

Any of you who are nervous about flying, especially related to turbulence, go here and here to learn a lot about turbulence and other issues that sometimes cause anxiety when flying. Hopefully all of this will help you relax and enjoy the trip to WDW more!

Tropics
Today ends the season and everything is properly shut down.
