Since I am being selfish and taking a solo trip to WDW in a few weeks I will not be renting a car. Now I am wondering what my best option is to get to and from the airport. I will be arriving at noon on Wed Feb 5. I have a 7:00 flight out on Mon the 10th. I will probably have to use Mears. Will they be able to get me back to the airport so early in the morning? I could take a taxi but that would cost quite a bit more. Anyone have any ideas about this?

Yes, Mears would be your best option for you traveling solo. Round trip, the cost should be around $32. We were able to get a taxi from Port Orleans Riverside for a 7:00am flight home, so I would think Mears would be available too.

Mears is available 24 hours a day, just be sure to reserve you return shuttle the night before. The cost of a round trip ticket is $29. The Mears desks are located on the ground level of the airport. There are two on A side and there should be two on B side. I don't get to B side too often. They are located on the back wall and it's very easy to spot. Our logo is a big letter M in black in a field of bright yellow. Just like on our buses and vans. Can't miss it

I would agree that Mears is probably the best option. They run 24 hours a day and are dependable for an early morning departure. The last time I used Mears, you had to call 24 hours in advance of departure to set up the time, this could be extremely important for an early morning departure. A rental car or the limo is often just as cost effective for a group of people, and more convenient, however, Mears is the best I know of for a single traveler.

Thanks for the responses. I will use Mears for my solo trip now that I know they run 24 hours a day. For a 7:00 am flight I'll need to get to the airport pretty early. For my arrival day it really won't matter if it takes awhile extra to get to the resort because I won't have anything planned to do special other than relaxing.

I used Mears my first trip and also had a very early pickup for my return flight. There was no problem with them they arrived right on time. I did call to confirm the day before.
They schedule your pickup time very early giving you plenty of time in-between picking you up and the time of your flight. When things were different at the airports I would suggest telling them your flight was later, but now with security the way it is you really do need to get to the airport that early.
